PTW Semiconductor India Pvt. Ltd. has signed a Memorandum of Understanding for a ₹250 crore investment across Coimbatore and Hosur, marking a significant development for Tamil Nadu's growing semiconductor and advanced manufacturing ecosystem.

The proposed investment will focus on the manufacturing of semiconductor equipment systems and the provision of specialised engineering services in Coimbatore and Hosur.

The project is expected to create around 750 employment opportunities across both locations, opening new career prospects for engineering graduates, technical professionals, skilled technicians, and experienced manufacturing personnel.

Coimbatore's strong precision engineering capabilities and established industrial ecosystem, along with Hosur's growing manufacturing base, are expected to support the company's operations and expansion.

The investment is set to strengthen the role of both Coimbatore and Hosur in India's rapidly developing semiconductor supply chain.
