Rotary Club of Coimbatore Aram Presents “SUPER OVER – Season 2” Cricket Tournament

The Rotary Club of Coimbatore Aram, in association with Riverside Public School, is organizing “Super Over – Season 2,” a unique cricket tournament for Rotarians aged 40 and above on March 29, 2026, in Coimbatore.

Powered by the Aishwaryam Financial Services Cup, the event aims to promote fellowship, fitness, and a shared love for cricket among participants.

The event will begin at 7:30 AM with breakfast, followed by the draw of pools at 7:45 AM in the presence of key dignitaries, including T.J. Srinivasa Raj, U. Bhagwandas Rao, R.I. Palani, and Sundar Ramakrishnan.

The official flag-off ceremony at 8:00 AM will be led by Chella K Raghavendran. Matches will commence at 8:30 AM, followed by a lunch break at 12:30 PM. The schedule includes semi-finals, a special “Super Heroes Challenge,” and the final match at 4:45 PM, leading to the closing ceremony at 5:00 PM.

Beyond cricket, the event carries a strong social cause. All funds raised will support patients undergoing kidney (renal) transplantation. Last year, the Rotary Club provided financial assistance to 15 patients, each receiving around ₹1.5 lakh for their surgeries.

Continuing this noble initiative, the funds from this year’s tournament will also be used to support kidney transplant patients, reinforcing the club’s commitment to community service and saving lives.

The organizers invite members, families, sponsors, and the public to attend and support this meaningful event, combining sports with a powerful humanitarian purpose.
