The 10th season of the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) 2026 begins today with defending champions iDream Tiruppur Tamizhans taking on former champions Dindigul Dragons at the NPR College Ground in Dindigul.

The much-awaited 10th edition of the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) 2026 gets underway today, August 4, with cricket fans across the state eagerly anticipating another exciting season of T20 action. Eight teams will compete for the prestigious championship title in this year's tournament.
The opening match of the season will feature defending champions iDream Tiruppur Tamizhans taking on former champions Dindigul Dragons. The match is scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM at the NPR College Ground in Dindigul.
The tournament will be played across multiple venues, including Chennai, Coimbatore, Dindigul, Tirunelveli, and Salem. At the end of the league stage, the top four teams in the points table will qualify for the playoffs and battle for a place in the final.
