Commercial LPG Cylinder Prices Increased Across India from June 1

The prices of commercial LPG cylinders have been increased across India with effect from June 1, bringing additional costs for businesses that rely heavily on cooking gas for daily operations.

According to the latest revision announced by oil marketing companies, the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has been increased by between Rs.42 and Rs.53.50 per cylinder, depending on the location. The hike is expected to impact hotels, restaurants, catering services, and other commercial establishments that use LPG for business purposes.

However, there is relief for households as the price of the 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder remains unchanged. As a result, the latest revision is not expected to directly affect household consumers.

Industry sources indicate that the increase is linked to prevailing conditions in the international energy market, along with rising distribution and operational costs. Commercial LPG prices are typically revised based on global fuel trends and supply chain expenses.

Businesses in the hospitality and food service sectors may face higher operating costs following the latest revision, while consumers will continue to monitor whether the increased commercial gas prices eventually impact food and service prices in the coming weeks.

The revised rates came into effect nationwide on June 1, 2026, as part of the regular pricing mechanism followed by India's oil marketing companies.
