In the Indian Premier League 2026 season, Sunrisers Hyderabad secured a dominant 65-run victory over Kolkata Knight Riders in the 6th league match held in Kolkata.
After winning the toss, Kolkata Knight Riders opted to bowl first. Batting first, Sunrisers Hyderabad posted a massive total of 226/8 in 20 overs. Heinrich Klaasen top-scored with 52 runs, while Abhishek Sharma (48), Travis Head (46), and Nitish Kumar Reddy (39) made valuable contributions.
For Kolkata, Blessing Muzarabani was the standout bowler, picking up 4 wickets.
Chasing a challenging target of 227, Kolkata Knight Riders struggled and were bowled out for 161 runs in just 16 overs. Angkrish Raghuvanshi was the top scorer for KKR with 52 runs.
