India’s gold medals have come from the women’s cricket team, the shooting pair of Kamaljeet and Suruchi Singh, the Indian women’s kabaddi team and the Indian men’s kabaddi team. The women’s cricket team secured gold after defeating Sri Lanka in the final, while the kabaddi teams added two more gold medals to India’s tally.
Indian athletes have also secured 20 silver medals across shooting, weightlifting, wushu, athletics, squash and other disciplines.
